1. Introduction
Welcome to Civopilot. These Terms govern your use of our website, calculators, guides, and downloadable templates.
Civopilot is operated by Brijpal, trading as Civopilot..
By using our services or purchasing a product, you agree to the applicable Terms. If you purchase on behalf of a business, you confirm that you are authorised to do so.
Nothing in these Terms removes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
2. Our Services
Civopilot provides construction calculators, educational guides, and downloadable templates for tasks such as budgeting, job costing, estimates, invoices, and project documentation.
Each product page describes the files, features, software requirements, and any bonuses included in that purchase. Review these details before ordering.
Products are digital downloads unless expressly stated otherwise. No physical item will be shipped.
3. User Accounts
Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate information and take reasonable steps to keep your login credentials confidential.
Do not share passwords or verification codes. Contact us if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
You must not impersonate another person or access accounts without permission.
4. Purchases and Payments
The applicable price, currency, taxes, and payment conditions will be shown during checkout. Please review the final amount before completing your purchase.
The product description and offer presented at the time of purchase determine what your order includes. Later price changes do not change the amount already agreed for a completed purchase.
Payment processing terms applicable to your purchase will be presented during checkout.
5. Digital Delivery and Downloads
Following successful payment confirmation, download instructions are sent to the email address used at checkout.
Download links expire after 48 hours. If your link expires, reply to your purchase confirmation email or contact care@civopilot.com for assistance. We may ask for information needed to verify your purchase.
Link expiry does not itself end your licence to use files you have already downloaded.
Please provide a correct email address, check your spam folder, and keep a backup of your purchased files.
6. Template Licence
Unless a product page expressly provides a different licence, a purchase grants one individual or business a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use and customise the included templates for its own projects and business activities.
You may:
Enter your own information and adapt the templates to your workflow.
Make working copies for your own projects and backups.
Allow people working within the purchasing business to use the files for that business’s activities.
Share completed project documents, such as invoices, quotes, and reports, with the relevant clients or project participants.
You may not:
Resell, sublicense, give away, or publicly upload the reusable template files.
Distribute modified versions as competing templates or digital products.
Share purchase links or reusable files with unrelated people or businesses.
Claim ownership of the underlying template design or formulas.
Your purchase grants usage rights; it does not transfer ownership of Civopilot’s intellectual property. Included bonus templates are subject to the same licence unless stated otherwise.
7. Using and Customising Templates
Follow the instructions included with your product and enter information in the designated input areas.
Changes to formulas, sheet structure, validation, or calculation ranges can affect results. Save a backup before customising a workbook and check important calculations before relying on them.
Use the software specified on the product page. Features, formatting, charts, and protection settings may behave differently between spreadsheet applications.
Future upgrades, custom modifications, or compatibility with additional software are included only where expressly stated in the product offer.
8. Refunds and Product Problems
For missing files, download problems, or products that do not work as described, contact care@civopilot.com with your order details and a description of the issue.
Refunds and other remedies are subject to our Refund Policy, the applicable payment provider's terms where relevant, and any mandatory consumer rights.
The fact that a product is delivered digitally does not, by itself, remove any statutory refund, withdrawal, replacement, or other remedy available to you.
9. Accuracy and Professional Advice
Our calculators, guides, and templates provide general planning and organisational assistance. Results depend on your inputs, assumptions, recorded costs, and any changes you make.
Estimates are not guarantees of actual costs, savings, profit, project completion, or regulatory compliance.
These resources do not replace professional engineering, construction, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Verify important figures and consult appropriately qualified professionals where needed.
10. Acceptable Use
You must not use Civopilot to:
Carry out unlawful or fraudulent activity.
Infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
Distribute malicious software.
Attempt unauthorised access to accounts or systems.
Disrupt the website or bypass access and payment controls.
Redistribute products in breach of their licence.
11. Intellectual Property
Website content, templates, tools, branding, and design are owned by Civopilot or the relevant licensors.
Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms or on a product page, you may not reproduce or distribute these materials without permission.
You retain rights in the information and original content you enter into your templates.
12. Third-Party Services and Privacy
Third-party service providers we use may operate under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
Our Privacy Policy explains how Civopilot handles personal information associated with accounts, purchases, website use, and support.
Links to external websites do not mean that Civopilot controls their content or services.
13. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Civopilot is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the website or templates.
You are responsible for checking your inputs, reviewing outputs, and keeping backups. We do not guarantee business or project outcomes from using our products.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
14. Suspension and Termination
We may restrict account access where reasonably necessary to address a material breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, unlawful activity, or a security threat.
Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide an opportunity to resolve the issue. Urgent security or legal circumstances may require immediate action.
Any suspension or termination remains subject to applicable law and rights relating to purchases already made.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as our services develop. Changes will be posted with an updated date, with additional notice where required.
Updates will not automatically remove rights granted for completed purchases. Material changes affecting an existing agreement will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
